KASE FILTERS

Landscape photography can be a challenge at the best of times. Photographers have to battle with all kinds of weather, hiking over obstacles and getting our feet wet (it's a hard life!). So when you set up your camera, the last thing you want to be worrying about is your kit letting you down
Like most photographers, I started out with some very basic gear. I went for the cheapest I could get my hands on but soon realised, if I wanted to produce professional looking images, I had to invest some money in decent kit.
Having upgraded my DSLR, my bag and my tripod, lenses etc, I knew I had to get hold of some decent filters. Putting a cheap filter on your lens is like putting a vinyl roof on your Ferrari. Why pay potentially thousands of pounds for a camera lens, that has the latest high end optical quality, only to slap a cheap piece of plastic or glass on the front and then wonder why your images aren't looking their best.
I turned to Kase Filters, admittedly, due to budget, I only have their basic circular polariser and K8 holder but it has made a huge difference to my images. When the time comes (when I can afford it) I will purchase much more kit from Kase Filters, which, I know will compliment my gear and my future images. The Wolverine kit is something I have my eyes firmly planted on, as I have heard nothing but great reviews from this little kit of filters that produces stunning results.
For now, I will have to stick with my small set of landscape filters from Lee Filters. Which consists of a 0.6 & 0.9 ND Grads, Some standard ND's and a Big Stopper.
I have to say though, it is refreshing to find a system that is both a joy and a pleasure to use whilst producing stunning results. Don't get me wrong, I have enjoyed using Lee Filters, but Kase Filters is a complete game changer so far.
